Chiropractic Adjustments

A chiropractic adjustment is a gentle, high-speed, low-force technique used to introduce movement into hypo-mobile or "locked" joints. A joint that is not moving correctly causes excessive strain on surrounding joints and muscles because they must compensate for the lost movement.

Active Release Technique (ART)

ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.

Graston Technique Soft Tissue Therapy

Graston Technique

Graston Technique allows a clinician to get as deep into the tissue as necessary to invoke change, yet be sensitive to patient pain and tolerance. With Graston Technique, the doctor uses stainless steel instruments to move over the affected area and come in contact with adhesions. The instruments help break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions. In time, this process will reduce or eliminate the adhered fibers, restoring range of motion and eliminating the associated pain. It will help transform your soft tissue injury into healthy functioning tissue.

Rock Tape

Rock Tape is a kinesiology/sports tape that provides support while allowing full range of motion. Tape is used to decrease pain, unload tissue via decompression, and provide a novel stimulus that improves body awareness.

Rehabilitative Exercises toward total recovery

Rehabilitative Exercises

We often will prescribe exercises designed to decrease pain, strengthen the core, correct a dysfunctional movement, or increase range of motion in a certain area. This is all geared towards helping our patient’s progress to a total recovery.

Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

Dr. Drew uses the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) with his patients to help him diagnose, treat, and obtain the fastest results possible. The source of the problem is rarely at the site of pain and the SFMA helps him locate the true cause of your problems.

Lightforce Class IV Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy is an FDA cleared modality that reduces inflammation and ultimately results in pain reduction. Laser Therapy is effective in treating acute pain, chronic conditions and post-op pain.

Laser therapy treatment is safe, painless and fast. Deep Tissue Laser Therapy treatments are administered in 5 to 10 minutes. Typically patients see results after 3 to 5 treatment sessions. Deep Tissue Laser Therapy utilizes your body’s own healing powers by stimulating cellular activity. Despite fast treatment times, laser therapy treatments initiate a healing process that continues to actively reduce inflammation for up 24 hours after treatment.
